And what could be better than a toast! It's such an easy and fast meal to make-particularly in the morning.
A fun way to change up your toast game is to use sliced sweet potatoes instead of toast, which makes for a great paleo or whole30 option as well.
This recipe comes from @therunningcarrot and is super simple! Just try it!
Sweet Potato Toast:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease baking sheet.
2. Slice sweet potato in ½ inch slices and spray with oil + season with salt and other desired spices (for savory I recommend adding pepper, onion powder, oregano, and parsley. For sweet, I recommend adding cinnamon).
3. Roast slices for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy! (for savory, I recommend avocado with a fried egg or salmon. For sweet, I recommend a nut butter with granola, fruit or dried fruit!).
