How the Product Works:

With the Uno Casa Tortilla Press, you won’t need to worry about manually rolling out tortillas to make your favorite homemade tortillas. It is a simple way to make perfectly shaped tortillas in a matter of minutes. This is how it works:
- Prepare your favorite dough. Corn and wheat flour doughs both work.
- Place the sheets of parchment paper in the press and then place dough balls onto that.
- Gently press the lever of the press down until you've achieved the desired thickness.
- Remove it from the press and discard the paper.
- Heat the Comal pan, and cook your tortilla for 30 – 40 seconds on each side.
- Serve!
The press and pan are both pre-seasoned, so you can use them straight away without preparation.

How to maintain the Comal Pan and Tortilla Press

To clean:

1. Remove all residue and wipe clean with warm water. It’s best to avoid using soap on cast-iron. 2. Thoroughly clean dry the cookware to prevent the cast iron from rusting. 3. Once it is clean, season it before you store it.

To season:

1. Spread a thin layer of mild vegetable oil over the item's surface. 2. Bake it for around an hour at 375°F.
